I understand where you're coming from. I do think it pretty important to consider debt as debt and to consider equity as equity. Re your point about using cash instead of stock prematurely, you are probably correct. I do think Bramson has a use for the cash that would pay it back many times the 1.5 million redemption due. So give them stock. My point was that to the extent that things have progressed at the company that one may believe the stock to have a much higher currency value in the near future, then it may make sense to pay cash now.

To the extent that the preferred holders do not have a guarantee of receiving stock, only an expectation, they would not be shorting stock.
