I don't know the San Diego Creationist Institute. Never heard of them. As I understand it, evolutionary creationists simply offer the theory that God created the mechanism of evolution and directs evolutionary progress. That Genesis is a mythical rendering of this progress, valid in its essential elements but put into mythical terms to be understandable to man, that the seven days of the Bible are not days as we know them, but ages, and that God created the earth and all life on it using the process which we now term evolution. I don't say I agree or disagree, but it fits all the scientific facts so dear to the evolutionists' hearts. It certainly can't be proved to be any less valid than random-event-based evolution.
