K.,

I'm sorry, I misunderstood your post.. I thought you were the author of that post.. Too many "loose cannons' around for me to keep up with..<ggg>,

On topic, from my experience, and I have had some.. An offer on a
property like this is usually in the form of a work commitment, a JV, staged, small at first maybe 50k to 100k of drilling to confirm the previous results within in a short time frame, maybe 3 to 6 months,
increasing in value if the option is kept and if the results are
increasingly favorable.. It takes time and money to do this..

Especially in these lean times for base and precious metals, there
is hardly ever any front money for the option.. and if any small at best.. and they are almost always options for early stage exploration projects so the Optionee can back out at earliest sign of disappointment.. Conserve that money, you know.

BTW, I done this for years, putting properties together and optioning them out.. I was also a founder of little exploration company company.. And we ALWAYS let the results speak for themselves.
Unfortunately, 99 percent of the time the assays and drill results don't speak very loud.. I got out in the early 90's when the majors started to balk at up front bonus money.. token payments of 10k maybe.
then just money expended.. and so on.. I bailed ahead of the game.

I still stay in contact and would like to get back in, but according to my friends, this time period is about as low as its been
since the great depression... So in conclusion I wish you investors well but times are tough in the mining business.. Things will come back,, I think, <gg>, so hang in there.. but IMO, do not have too high of expectations with instant gratification...

Of course all of the above is my opinion..

Good luck all.. the Coug... still prospecting for straw hats in the winter time.
