The point I am making is that statements like "a lot of ..... do .... or ...." is pointless. It is a generalization that means nothing.

I could say "a lot of left handed people lead hyprocrtical lives". It is true but it has no meaning nor relevance.

Columbia is a nice town. Where are you from?

Now really, that was all in George W's past. He doesn't do that anymore. Really. He's said so. Such past exuberance should in no way discredit him now. Despite all the booze, women, and coke back in the oil patch during the heady 80's he could still become a good president (once he figures out what it is he's running for, of course).
