<The "Thing" that I disliked the most about Homegrocery.com is they won't leave the groceries @ your home, if there isn't anyone there to receive them, even though it's put on your credit card before they actually make the delivery. I think It's about the beer & wine problem, because of potential under aged drinkers. > My WebVan deliverer explained to me that WebVan uses three color-coded delivery containers - one for frozen goods, one for fresh goods, and a third for non-perishable goods. They will leave non-perishable goods at the door, or wherever you specify (in your delivery instructions) you want them left. They will only deliver frozen and fresh goods to a live person. Not sure whether or not they will leave alcoholic beverages unattended - he didn't say.
