Mr. History dresses in new clothes each time but he dances the same steps. He repeats himself.

He is already doing it. The history of other bubbles is in print, for everyone to read. When a bear market occurs, most of the internut stocks will never recover. I'll bet never. Most of the others will be seriously re-evaluated. The re-evaluation will occur because at the bottom of the bear market, the purchasers will be careful, fundamental-conscious, long-term, conservative, and sober. They will not even THINK of looking at companies that have no earnings. For the companies that have earnings, investors will be very conservative regarding p/e's and companies like AOL will be selling at much lower--more traditional--valuation levels for a long, long time. IMHO.

Maybe if we all wait long enough, tulips will come back.
