SANTA ANA, Calif.--(BW HealthWire)--June 19, 1999--Golden Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ("Golden")(OTC BB:GPHI) today announced the signing of technology agreements for the implementation of its e-commerce services to physicians' offices and clinics.

BroadVision will provide its One-to-One Commerce solution that will allow the Company to personalize its customers' Internet purchasing experiences. Oracle Applications was chosen as the ERP (enterprise resource planning) solution to provide the infrastructure necessary to support the projected increase in sales volume. Sun Microsystems will be providing the servers to drive the applications.

Chuck Drummond, Chairman and CEO of Golden, said that "this set of outstanding software and hardware suppliers will provide us with state-of-the-art service capability to greatly expand our product and service offerings to physicians and their staffs across the country. The select set of implementation consultants we have chosen will assure both the high quality and timeliness that our numerous customers have come to expect."

Golden currently operates primarily through its Quality Care Pharmaceuticals, Inc. subsidiary and sells prescription and OTC (over-the-counter) medications and related software to physicians' offices, clinics and other healthcare facilities. Golden's recent Proxy announced its intention to change its name to more accurately communicate its growing emphasis on e-commerce.

Just my 2 cents (and my poor history w/options is well known), but I think that we're going to stick to a $2 range either way for a while. That might be good enough for your options, but that's up to you. I think the flurry of activity last week wore out interest in ORCL for the time being. It's gonna take some big news - or some big industry news - for ORCL to move again.
Again, I'm probably wrong, based on my history of playing the short term market.
