H60, yours is the first plausible explanation of Pink's posts which I have yet read. While I have no way of knowing if it is indeed the case, it does make sense and would explain his complete lack of a coherent defense of his position. Normally he shorts stocks with far worse fundamentals than IDTC.

If what you suggest is true, he should take what would appear to be a nice profit and cover rather than fight the institutions. Perhaps he will do that this week.

Hawaii, I personally doubt that we here at SI have any influence on any stock, certainly not IDTC which is quite liquid. I view the I-net portion of IDTC as just gravy, for me IDTC is cheap just as a fast growing long distance telecom company that has shown time and again that it comes with innovative new approaches the encroach on the biggies's turf. I disagree with you that the I-net are coming back any time soon, and will not count on that as fueling a rally in IDTC.

The advantage of getting the I-net business out through an IPO, is in my opinion, an excellent way to participate in the long term prospects of the net while not showing it on IDTC's balance sheet and profits statement. A secondary benefit would be as an "hidden asset" in the event that such an IPO is extremely successful.

<<My advice to any of Mr. Pinks followers, would simply
be to cover while you still have aprofit and go long immediately. You will quickly make
up the money lost by not covering sooner and can always re evaluate once the dusat
settles.>>

And may the great dusat be with us tomorrow. My guess is that the Pinkerelli and his sheep will try a sneak attack early and possibly even get to around 22. At that point they will find themselves surrounded on 3 sides with no place to hide. The carnage will be of biblical proportions.
