Herr John,

Thanks for the pointer on those stocks U mentionned.

I HATE to hold stocks.. I much prefer bonds debentures cd's or these 'trust units' like ay.un / hot.un

Holding on for long periods of time to many stocks I found out some mornings I was richer but other mornings I was poor.. not a way to fill the $$$ Bag for me..

In deed whom knows what the hell will happen next quarter ??

Not me at least - so I trade a few stocks at a time.

Mind U I was almost wiped out on the BXM debacle..

John, you got very good points....Let me try to rebutt them..(not one by one, but as an entity)...Did I say buy and hold forever? If not why did I say 3-5 years? Ah, because you are in great bull market and GOD is clueless when that would come to the scritching stop....So one keeps eye on the door and buys beaten-down sectors ..The crowd always comes back and greeze on them...As for upgrades-usually the come after stock doubles....(CCC-I watched it for a while-was exception)

And yes-you may conclude that this lucky time of abnormal fat 6 year old bull would not last...Keep your eyes open and remember Yahoo at $5? so is oil and gold now :)
