EPro - Thanks for the response! CF would need to make it much simpler than a "cut and paste" operation, though, IMHO...

From my memories of Compuserve, before I finally got around to terminating the service about six months ago -- they just had a big button called "filing cabinet," in which you could set up all sorts of "drawers" to move your email into. Very simple and intuitive...

Not to belabor the point, bust there are alot of little, psychological hurdles to clear with Joe consumer before he gives up that valuable, ingrained paper trail mentality.

For instance -- how many of the folks on the thread went gung-ho headlong into online trading without first printing out a copy of the "preview" of your trade before hitting the "submit" button -- just in case Schwab, or e-trade (or whoever) screwed it up. I sure did, but I don't bother to anymore as I have grown more comfortable with Schwab's on-line recordkeeping ability...

Just some early-morning thoughts...
