If Schwab can execute an order in about a minute, it's good enough

I am pulling my hair out if it takes a minute for my bid to hit the floor. I only trade the big volume movers so 1 minute can mean a lifetime on a trade even if I plan on hold for a 30 minutes or longer. Schwab and Greenline have been fairly good lately and 15-20 second to the floor is becoming common. You can get even faster times with the Schwab day trader.

However for 99% of Canadian stock you are right..they only trade once ever couple of minutes so the delay won't kill you...however I don't day trade illiquid stocks.

Best Regards
KEITH
