Free Download Accelerator Software

Hi Keith,

I installed this free download software some time ago ... It hasn't tremendously speeded up my downloads (Living in the country, I can only connect at 28.8 max), but it has saved my butt a few times by allowing me to resume a download when it is interrupted.

Most servers support the software's features ... For those that don't there is a button to select regular download ... There are advertisements, but those are only on the download screen which can still be minimized to an icon ... There are no changes to your browser's appearance, only to the download screen.

PS - Just downloaded the WebWasher to give it a try :-))

Keith, along this same line, I have a question,. Is there some splitter/switcher where I can have two computers running on the same dial up connection (as per two tv's on cable, two phones in the home talking to the same person) I think that this would be the killer app that everyone would want. Who would be developing such splitter, Nortel, Newbridge? ( I have two computers, laptop and desktop and I would like to have them on the same line at the same time, one checking stock info and the other for typing messages to you, which would only use the connection when i hit send. (or the kids can use one and moi the other)
TIA
john

Afternoon keith or anyone else using
pcquote charts. I still use a chart
that is a lagging indicator for assisting
in indicating buy and sell signals.

It is the one where the Simple MA is set at 12
and the MACD is set to 8 - 18

I am having a little difficulty replicating this chart
on pcquotes system. They require more parameters to be
input to achieve the same study. Anybody's help would
be appreciated. gotta call pcquotes, still not there.

Best regards

WB
