Well, Don, you choose to put your faith in dishonest analysts I guess because they are more "establishment" than newsletter writers. They are certainly no more honest. The only reason I pay any attention to analysts' comments is because they can impact institutional money. But actually most analysts' impacts are usually short-lived. Again Don- Please tell me the level at which the market will begin to make the XXX-point plunge, what the point drop will be, and when it will start to reverse. If you cannot tell me this then, IMO, your stated strategy re rmbs is completely without merit. <<IF this is the case, why aren't there more big time followers of this holy grail. It isn't an oversight, there is a reason, but I am not sure what it is.>> Again, the answer: because there is no certainty of the analysts' firms getting underwriting fees from RMBS.
