What's your opinion on timing? This time Sega is first to market with new technology. But Sony has the more powerful brand name. Genesis outflanked Sony in the early 90s, from what I remember, by having more blood and violence in the games. But then the Saturn was late to market and Sony captured the lead with a wide range of games.

From what I read on another thread, Sony's new platform won't be available for some time yet. I haven't a clue how the home video game war will play out. But from what I saw of Dreamcast though, the new technology is quite incredible.
