NEW YORK -- The most notable feature of Friday's market was the continued push into the
technology sector, not the triplewitch expiration of options and futures contracts.

The buying activity stood out because Intel Corp., one of the sector leaders, declined after an
influential Morgan Stanley Dean Witter & Co. analyst lowered his earnings estimates.

Traders didn't let Intel detract from their optimistic outlook in the sector. They treated Intel as a
case-specific event that would have little impact on other technology-stock prices. Call buying was
active in Cisco Systems Inc., Dell Computer Corp., International Business Machines Corp. and
Microsoft Corp.

Basically, you have limited downside, but you will be giving up something on the upside. You don't get something for nothing.

There's something about calling provisions mentioned in this story. I'm still having trouble finding out any info on this thing:
