R, My first take is that Brocade is responding to Ancor's low priced switch. They are providing an upgrade path from hubs, which the Mk II did a year ago. The switches do not sound like anything new. My focus goes to the software. I do not know how Ancor compares, but software is very important. Let's see what George has to say...wj
