Nothing wrong with $19.99 games which are probably value-priced ('VP') games. Last year industry sources stated that VP games - i.e. previously played, closeouts or republished games - were higher in unit volume shipments than frontline games - although revenues were only about 25% of frontlines. Republished, at $19.99, to me are just like paperbacks in a bookstore- they don't compete and only enlarge the market itself.

Any good stock selection of video games companies has to recognize this. For example, ERTS, ELBO, FNCO and GTR (Games Trader- Toronto Stock Exchange) who is the only listed 100% value-priced distributor in North America, will be able to participate in the fast growing VP segment.

I expect THQI is also in this but I have no information on it. Has anyone got any numbers on THQI's presence in the VP segment?
