Rich, et.al.: Just got in from a long week-end and had a chance to look at VLNC. It looks to be staying true to its last 6 months form; and now appears to be starting its upwards crawl back to $8. Next stop, by end of week, $7.25? Maybe yes, maybe no, but the odds say yes. And, as usual, this is all merely my WAG.

Bottom line? VLNC now starts the upwards leg of cycle number SEVEN of yet another in a seemingly endless series of repetitions. The only thing more repetitious than the cycle itself is the corresponding yip, yip, yap, of the negativists on the various threads when it gets down around this point. BUT, I'm not just picking on them, the longs do the same thing when it starts to get to ~$8. As a long on this issue need I say I'm tired of the shortie rap, but, too, I'm also tired of the bullish hyperbole. It's all so much repetition ad nauseum(despite the coinage made on the bouncy bouncy). What we need is to get out of this friggin' rut that's been dug, and I can think of no finer way of putting an end to this cycle than for VLNC management to make some material statements in their next call. And what'daya know....July.....my month of expectations(heh), is right around the corner....

Now...about those OEM.....

John~

Yes, I know. I'm back in. I think this proves that I'm either insane or one hell of a market analyst -- or an insane market analyst?! Three weeks and I'm out at 8 1/8.
