Mike: Compaq preannounces last week a miss. PC stocks, semis and cpq go up. Hutchinson announces a big miss today, PC stocks, semis, and hutchinson go up. It would seem to me that people are buying technology stocks period. My gut feeling is given the present giddiness of this environment, I should wait to add to any put positions. What you think ? Also, I notice, micron eps estimates have been reduced over the past 13 weeks or so from about 0.23 to 0.00 and yet the stock continues to go up. My guess, bulls know about the eps and the announced misses and dont care since it appears that US FED and Japan FED have promised to rescue them no matter what. Maybe AG is too close to the bubble to recognize that he is responsible for it.
