Medinah Mining announces the
discovery of a new high-grade gold vein at
the Alto de Lipangue, Chile.

Lake Elsinore, CA, June 18, 1999 … The recent diamond-drilling program at Medinah's Las Dos Marias mining
project intersected a shear/vein structure containing high-grade gold. The vein is 7 meters wide and averaged 37.3 grams (1.2 ounces) of
gold per tonne over 5 meters. A 1-meter section assayed 122.2 grams (3.9 ounces) per tonne of gold and 52.2 grams (1.6 ounces) per tonne
of silver. Company Geologist, Mr. Gordon House, P.Geo., in his report of June 7, 1999, has recommended 13 drill holes over a strike length
of 600 meters to extend the discovery zone. Should the vein be consistent in width and grade over the 600 meters strike length, $200
million in gold reserves would be inferred.

Mr. House indicates that there should exist a series of these shear vein structures in the DDH DM99-02 area, as well as at the discovery
hole DDH L99-03, at Alto de Lipangue. During a recent reconnaissance of the Millalelfún and Gordon claim areas, Sr. Juan Jose Quijano
and an independent geologist discovered a large new shear-type vein less than 1 km from the Alto de Lipangue DDH L99-03. The vein was
observed to be at least a kilometer in length and returned assays of 77.5 grams (2.5 ounces) of gold per tonne.

This new discovery confirms Mr. House's theory of the existence of a series of these spectacular high-grade veins and also
indicates that the high-grade gold zones encountered at Las Dos Marias also occur in the copper-gold rich Alto de Lipangue Breccia area.
