Thanks Jonathan for the Heads up! I do have a question Pretaining to China and the alliace with (CHML) ChinaMallUSA.COM. I think this was a tremendous move here and wanted to know what BNBN sees as a projected sales outlook target for China and Forign Country sales. I think Foriegn Sales will really be a big boost to BNBN! As a shareholder I would also like to see a alliance in the Latin Mkt. which will also be growing Exponentially. ie: Maybe (STRM) Starmedia.

Again very happy to see your participation Keep up the Good Work!!!

Hello Jonathan, well this is great but shouldn't you be spending time taking care of 'b'ness' like increasing shareholder value and stuff instead of hanging around here.<vbg>

Now,seriously how are we going to beat Amazon? What kind of growth in sales can we expect from the company in the next couple of years? Are you going to stick with books or are you going to branch out in to other areas like Amazon,I know you have made some modest foray into other stuff like music,I am talking about serious efforts in branching out in to other products. Lastly how do you propose to leverage the Bertelsmann AG relationship in to serious cash or are they planning to cash out soon?

Thanks in advance for the time and help.

Best Regards and best of luck.

PS:What has African Studies got to do with selling books? :)

Mr. Bulkeley,

When the time comes for additional forays into
e-commerce sales of non-book related items such
as CD's, software, apparel, etc., which company,
BKS or BNBN will have the needed resources to launch
such a venture?

Mr. Bulkeley:
I was shocked to find that bn.com is the THIRD largest seller of books on the 'net (as of May 31) behind Amazon and Borders, yet arguably has the best brand name. What actions is your company undertaking to promote advertising, and can we expect a campaign a la Amazon?

redherring.com

A nice article about E-commerce and how e-tailers plan to cope with the holiday season rush. I sure hope BNBN has the necessary servers in place to handle all of the extra traffic. I personally have had several problems with BNBN's servers since about mid-summer (and their customer service was a joke), so label me skeptical.

Still holding the stock, though, so I'm hoping for the best.
