CB, I'm not a Biblical scholar either, but the passage was from Exodus 34. I haven't heard from the Christians as to which set of Commandments is the right one yet. I would seem to me that the second set would supercede the first set after God had some time to reflect. The first set would be like a draft. Surely he would have known that the first set would be broken, being all-omniscient and everything.
