Appreciate your comments. Aleady own Qcom....and Lu thru Ascend. The question is, should I add to my Qcom holdings by selling Asnd, with both presently being equally weighted. In other words, will growth in Qcom be dramatically better than Lu? I think it may, but reducing Lu or eliminating reduces my position in networking and telecommunications equipment. What I really need is more capital <g>. The absence of discussion on this thread about Lu or nortel (except Chas 2) is deafening. Makes me think people don't believe these are as good as Qcom. stan
