Jim, et al -- re WebStreet: I'm kind of intrigued by what's been said about it here too, and have just checked out their website (www.webstreet.com) and looked at their trading Demo. Looks pretty good, but I did notice that -- on the Demo at least -- it requires that all prices be entered ONLY IN FRACTIONS.

One of the big reasons I went for E-Trade originally (in addition to my Schwab account) is that it allows me to enter penny-stock prices in decimals all the way out to three places. If Webstreet doesn't allow the same thing, I'd consider it a major drawback.

I assume that the Demo is up-to-date -- but if you're considering opening an account with Webstreet, you might want to specifically ask them about this in case there've been any changes. OR, maybe somebody else here can personally attest that it's possible to use decimals (?)...
