1) P III can definitely work with Camino.

2) Real soon now. The two things it's waiting for is for Intel to be able to deliver the correct stepping of Camino in manufacturing quantities, and for Intel to announce it, so the OEMs are allowed to announce it.

3)Yes, see 1) and 2)

4) It makes little sense to ship a PIII 600Mhz system with anything except Camino/Rambus, because with existing chipsets and SDRAM there is little improvement in performance from the faster processor, due to the memory bottleneck on every cache miss.
