rlevy - you commented a while ago about how threads seem like high school. More precisely, its like a cast of characters in a soap opera. Different characters come and go, some get rich, some bust, some find true love, some are stars and some are exposed as imbeciles. There's always some new grist for the mill.

In reality, posters on SI are the 'talent' that makes SI attractive as a generator of revenue for GNET. The quality and variety of posts is what attracts and holds the host of lurkers who pay for their 'entertainment' by enduring banner ads on each post. Thus it behooves GNET management to treat the 'talent' right by being responsive to expressed concerns. That said, the LINK does not offend me, but a disabling feature would 'keep the faith' on the part of GNET mgt.

I attribute the recent runup to a number of features:

- GNET/PA/VV deal is finalized and GNET can start implementing plans.
- GNET mgt is comfortable with .27 YE EPS estimate
- 2 for 1 split on 6/24
- positive exposure at two major analyst conferences serendipitously occuring with finalization of PA/VV deal
- Reports of PA activity in broader sector add urgency to the GNET story
- Recent news reports highlighting the growth in Web useage and the huge leaps occuring in e-commerce
- Wall Street may perceive .com valuations as outrageous but the market works on greed, fear and risk aversion; and right now they fear being left behind and are unwilling to take that risk.

I have to say that I learn an incredible amount from the postings on this thread and SI, I want to thank all you 'characters' for educating me.
