Lynn, It's not that the products are lacking or that the management is a problem.

It's the fact that the stock is not performing to expectations.

I don't think that MSFT investors care that Gates makes mistake after mistake. As long as the stock performs they are happy. MSFT performs despite their blunders just because of the sheer size of the organization and the monetary muscle they have.

CPQ doesn't have those resources to squander and have to work smarter. Since they have currently not demonstrated either of those options, the stock suffers and shareholders are pissed.

Everybody loves a winner. If you're not a winner, the lions get you in the arena.
