Anything is possible but MSFT has announced splits a little while after the December quarter earning releases for the last 2 years. I don't expect it to be any different this time. I am looking to see the stock almost double by next February---just in time for a split.
Just my bullish views.

Microsoft's stock price pretty much track the earning, and the PE continued to expand in recent years. So, the next earning will be a good indicator if Microsoft will split again this year !!!!!!!!!
