I can't tell the difference until it either comes true, or it doesn't. Exchanging speculative thoughts, especially those based on DD, as well as the results of investor's DD were probably the main purpose's of SI as it was originally designed. News releases and information from company IR departments were probably (hopefully) never expected.

Where people meet, rumors emerge (especially where money is involved).
