gv tucker: i wasnt referring to p w service.. but to your comment about an analyst giving advise to clients to get out of stocks... any one dumb enough to follow their advise is in deep do do..the advise that the brokers give on a daily basis to buy this and sell that ...and upgrade this and downgrade this is pure baloney...most of the time they are wrong...because unless something is fundamentally amiss with a great company one cannot possibly know how it will trade on a daily basis and in most cases will recover in a short time from short term problems most of which are caused by the analysts themselves...pure churning...admittedly there are cases such as cpq that are fundamentally screwed..and near term are poor choses for investments...but even then that mother could recover although being slammed to death... in reasonable time...
