Today's upswing is in fact quite significant and there has been a good discussion this morning on the various factors that may be affecting it's movement. I would submit that the ball started rolling due to the split. Once the jump was significant enough, I would venture to say there is a lot of short covering going on. Lest we forget, this stock was heavily sold no very long ago and there are still many bears hanging around. As we all know, these upwards bursts fuel themselves higher as bears opt for the sidelines. My feeling is that most of the other factors, are not as relevant as these these two combined. On the other hand, I would submit that all of the other factors will contribute in keeping the current valuation supported.
