This thread's been dead for 8 years? I just did an SI search for tv commercials and found this.. Anyway, 2 fairly recent commercials that I liked were the David Spade "just say NO" Capital One efforts, and also the AFLAC duck has had some funny moments. Three recent ones that are like chalk on a blackboard to me are Dell and Lincoln mutilating Christmas carols and that ugly little fat girl asking her dad to "drop her off a block away" in his Ford SUV "because people in that part of town ride bikes and drive hybrids". I feel like telling her to walk to the theater. Geico's cavemen and lizard commercials were just dumb, IMO...
