Zeev,

>>I would
say we are all wrong a good 40% of the time.<<

I remember when I first started investing in individual stocks and I asked my broker about shorting and he told me "shorts are usually wrong", when I asked him how that was, he said that unless the company is in trouble, shorting an advancing stock just fuels the advance. He pointed that if a company is in trouble, the stock price usually reflects it before it is becomes public knowledge. There are obvious exceptions of course. The same thing is true about the overall market. I saw that the put ratio was extremely high last week, being a contrary indicator, it looks like we go higher.
