RESEARCH ALERT- Intel strong buy repeated

CHICAGO, June 21 (Reuters) - Gruntal & Co. said Monday that a recent decline in the stock price of Intel Corp. presents a buying
opportunity and it repeated a strong buy recommendation on shares in the California-based chip maker.

-- Intel stock came under pressure over concerns from the delay of the company's Coppermine processor, Gruntal analyst Mona
Eraiba said in a research note. ''We believe that the current share price weakness is a buying opportunity for growth investors,'' she
said.

-- Eraiba said she considers the delay a minor event in Intel's product pipeline.

-- Shares of Intel were trading up 2-1/16 to 57 in late trading on turnover of more than 13.2 million shares on the New York Stock Exchange.
