Rajala: It is like deja vu-- seeing you here again. But you don't get the girl you mentioned in your post for $2-- just you.

Damn. Isn't that a nightmare. You?

When you had no merchandise for sale at a cost that no one can afford for a promised product that was half-cocked-- am I writing about Iridium?

Rajala-- I asked a number of times-- why do you come to this board? Someone wanted to know, when I asked that, if I only thought Globalstar supporters could come here.

I have only asked for individuals with information to post-- not this perpetual mealy opinionating that someone with nothing better to do has.

Two weeks ago Iridium was going bankrupt-- that was all the wisdom of the gurus. CE Unterberg Towbin's William Kidd wrote bankruptcy the probably course. Shiver, shiver. Stock was $5.

Now it's $9.

Opinions, opinions, opinions. Write something factual for once.

When you are stuck in a lift and the other guy dies, at least you get all the remaining oxygen. Iridium had and has a spack marketing strategy.
I actually registered, via their website, for an information pack. I received one a month later and have never had a back up call. They were probably too scared to follow up in case they could not supply.

Anyway my point is, death to the opposition and more life to Globalstar. When there is very little oxygen available only the superior vessels survive, but in this case there really is plenty of oxygen available, it is just a matter of knowing where it is and how to get it.

This is where marketing is so critical, and now Globalstar has the market on a plate provided the market is made fully aware of just what is available. i.e. one N.Z. leg of lamb for free with every handset purchased.

John.

Rajala - There is this biblical marketing plan of G* that everybody swears by. OK, its probably good - but how 'bout the marketing plan of I*, why would it necessary be any worse than that of G*? And if it was proven to be, why wouldn't it be changed over one weekend by a group of MBAs?

Because they can't? G* inherently involves the local carriers, and they are incentivized to sell G*. I* was competition to the local carriers.

Although I am not yet convinced that G* will succeed, it is without doubt that it is quite possible for G* to succeed and I* fail due to their inherent technical differences (which in turn drive marketing and cost differences).
