Forwarded from the Mr. Pink thread: >>>>>Ron, Mr. Pink is obviously a sort of Neitzschean jester. He has made some good calls and some bad ones, but is not interested in a rational discussion of IDTC' merits and weaknesses. Whatever his motivations may be in regard to IDTC, it is clear he is not going to back them up with cogent arguments. Until he does, I think IDTC longs are wasting their time here. Our points have been well made. Let him respond if he will.<<<<<Message 10209772 Message 10209297 Hi Andy, Good hearing from you again. I always enjoy and appreciate your comments. I took the liberty of replying to you over here at IDTC. >>>>Mr. Pink is obviously a sort of Neitzschean jester<<<< It is curious though that he is willing to stake his considerable reputation against the formidable opinions of Softbank, AOL, GE, Netscape, IBM etc., and now maybe even Microsoft. If this ship is going to sink, it won't be because Howard Jonas and company didn't pull yeoman's duty in securing top notch partners. .>>>>>He has made some good calls and some bad ones, but is not interested in a rational discussion of IDTC' merits and weaknesses. I really don't know which. But with the low volume today, Mr. Pink's influence seems to be largely a non-event. I imagine though that this is just the opening salvo in what may be a protracted war. Sooner or later fundamentals will prevail. Hopefully sooner. I'm guessing that the institutions will finish accumulating before we hear of any more upgrades. But really when it comes to predicting, I think I will yield to you, Hawaii, vinh pham, blankmind, aware_8 and all the other esteemed posters on S.I. and the Yahoo boards. Good luck to us all. Best regards, Ron Long IDTC
