Blackjack.com Sells for $460,000

Tue Jun 22 1999
Prize Central Networks, formerly known as Virtual Vegas, has sold the Blackjack.com domain to a Canadian investment firm for $460,000 cash plus future advertising rights. As the online gaming market grows, quality domains with intuitive names become increasingly valuable. For example, Casino.com and Gambling.com remain in the absolute top positions. So why sell Blackjack.com? David Herschman, CEO of Prize Central Networks, Inc. explains, "Selling Blackjack.com corresponds to our business strategy of moving away from casino-style games to games that appeal to a broader audience."
