I follow the guiding principle on all time frames and look at spots where there is multiple time frames in action to get the most bang for the buck.

For example, there were two set ups today on the 5 minute chart of the September S&P that were also set up spots on the 15 minute chart so you have a "nesting" of setups going for you.
