Thanks for sharing your brother's impressions of the 6/17 GNET shareholders meeting. I also attended that meeting and will supplement what you started with the following:

1. End of 2000 revenue goal -- 50% of revenues from non-advertising sources. Much of the non-advertising revenue is expected to come from e-commerce transactions. HyperMart's end to end transaction based e-commerce solution for small businesses is expected to be in place within 4 months.

2. Go2Net is formalizing a broad band joint venture with High Speed Access Corp. This will be announced soon and launched in the first quarter.

3. Another reason the recent pull back in Internet stocks wasn't bad is that Internet investors will be more selective and that Go2Net is well-positioned to benefit from that increased selectivity (as we witnessed today).

4. Go2Net expects institutional ownership to increase well beyond the current level of 11%, and the newly authorized 500,000,000 shares of stock would help accommodate that as future splits increase the float.

Overall, CEO Russell Horowitz stated that Go2Net is as well positioned as any company to transition to the next generation of the Internet as a leading provider of quality content on a variety of platforms. Go2Net "has never had a greater clarity of where the opportunities are. All we have to do now is execute." And in response to a question about management selling out too soon, Russell responded: "our most exciting opportunities are ahead of us and not behind us... there is a substantial upside and we want to be there to participate in it." (Russell, please let me know if I misquoted you or misrepresented your views).

These are probably some of the reasons this stock has done so well since the shareholders meeting on the 17th. Who has some others?
