John, thanks for the info on AVAN; did a bit of research and from what I read it seemed that it was rabbits rather than sheep which were used in the preliminary testing. The PRs were issued this AM and I was surprised that the stock price movement was subdued. Then reviewing the AVAN thread I realized why. Particularly your last post, there.

Another pipe dream? Interested in your thoughts...if you care to bring them to the AVAN thread.

Correction, In my post 847,I discussed my switch to Lipitor from Zocor.I am in error in reporting HDL levels.After using Lipitor my HDL levels went UP not down as reported in that post.Sorry for any confusion.
