OK, Alan, why don't you present a case for the internets. Pick your favorite internet, and give us a 5 year projection of sales, profits, and what you expect the stock price to be if they achieve those goals. I'm sure that approach would be well received here, as opposed to saying that tulipimania could go on for more years (which it could), or just saying that this isn't a top. Give us some fundamental analysis that supports your position that some specific stock is undervalued.

Carl

Allan,

It seems to me that even if this is a bubble, which I do not believe for one moment, at least not yet, that there is plenty of distance between where we are now and the eventual height of Internet capitalization. That spells opportunity, whether you call it investing or speculation. So long as this sector is met with such universal, uninformed skepticism and bewilderment, that opportunity is alive and well.

Business to business is where the money will be. I hope you and the other internuts make money. It is not that I wish you or others financial harm. Hell, I have a friend who has seen his $1.1 million net worth chopped nearly in half. I feel horrible for him.

This thread is a cure for complacency, if there ever was one.

IMHO, I think this thread should have paid membership to Justabid.com....but we won't because then we will have profits.

Bob Prechter. For about the past three years, the other Bob has identified just about everything, and I mean everything as sign of the "Top."

Prechter has been bearish forever. How does he maintain any subscribers? What a complete joke!
