If you read carefully----I said: the last 6 months----not last year. I find that often the "recent performance" is more indicative of the real future direction of the stock-----kind of mutual funds which "lose steam" and CSCO has lost steam compared to TLABS; personally, I don't care what a stock has done over the last 5 years, I am interested in what it has done during the last 5 days, 5 months----has its momentum changed???

Cisco only recently is reaching the same 120 mark I saw it at in the height of its early Feb (2nd I believe) earnings report----since that time it has gone nowhere and Tellabs took off from about 80 to 140 split adjusted.

Past performance is no guarantee of future success. So goes the warning in a mutual fund prospectus----the same applies to longer time measurements when considering "what is hot" NOW. If I were to look at last year's results I could buy have bought Dell and really have lost money.

That's one reason I love Barron's-----it is so easy to see what is moving "NOW" not a year ago----but NOW.

As for B/S---again, I am not impressed nor intimidated by "tough talk" so spare me the histrionics. And just because you can't imagine Tellabs not pulling back----if you happen to use precision in reading her statement---she said didn't speak in any obscure hypothetical but rather said that it was time to sell now.

Now, it is time for all of you would be "white knights" (are you on her payroll?) to get off your high horses and let the lady take responsibility for her own words. If you don't like my comments, don't read the post. But keep your fascist tendencies under control and let the market decide whose opinion was "on the money" or really "out of the money"----I think that the market told you that today----and although a summer pullback is highly likely----it would probably occur AFTER the July earnings in Techstocks is over---historically, that is when it has happened----and Sept, Oct seem to be disastrous for techs----I might be sitting on the sidelines myself during that time----but not because any "Chicken Little" here has told me that the "sky is falling" on a stock which has "quadrupled" since it's October low and made nothing but money for me for 5 years.
