OT. Thread, anyone know why SNDK was down 1/2 today? 43.1/2 to 43. (just joking, guys -g-) Sooo, this weekend I thought I would look at stuff on the net to see about buying a digital camera (my first). Of course with our SNDK product. But... way too tough for me. All I think I want to do is take pictures on travel vacations and maybe some family shots, and maybe sorta/kinda impress my friends who don't have digital cameras. I have to pick a camera. Okay. I like Kodak and somebody here just bought a DC210. That could work for me too. But then I have to get and actually install some software on my computer. Which, if I read posts here correctly, even for some technical people is a little difficult to choose from and install or use. Then I need to have some sort of cabling device connected for the CF cards? Then I've got to get a color printer. And I've got to worry about color compatibility plus all the camera stuff itself? Plus this stuff all has to work together? Which means manuals which I won't understand? Been thinking a lot about Art Bechoefer's 6009 post which clarifies it quite well for me, and I guess I say the heck with digital. I'll just stick with taking a couple of hundred pictures a year. If I feel the need for digital, the Kodak site says they can put my film into digital and even store it. I'm not happy with my little $100 camera, but maybe just a new point-and-shoot for a couple of hundred and a half will be okay. Be done with it and maybe be satisfied for a year or so. I really want to use a SNDK product though. Maybe try an MP3 player. Might be able to figure that out. -g- Nice going by the SNDK thread. That's obvious, imo. To the guy who said he thinks he's stupid for selling some SNDK at much lower levels, I say no. That was the right decision at the time. This stock IS very expensive. Foolish not to take some profits if this stock is a large component of one's portfolio. JMO, and I've been wrong many, many times before.

Greg and Thread, The site I monitor for 48 MB SanDisk CompactFlash sales was able to reduce their inventory by 39 cards in 10 hours today. anythinginc.net There were 312 cards at 9:52 am and only 273 at 7:42 pm. I think that CF will put a big dent in the centerfield scoreboard this year. I have a feeling that MMC will be an out-of-the-park homerun in a few years. So make sure you have glass coverage. Ausdauer
