New Headquarters, European Expansion and Key
Promotions Position Net Perceptions for Ongoing Growth

MINNEAPOLIS, June 21 /PRNewswire/ -- On the heels of its successful IPO, Net Perceptions (Nasdaq: NETP - news), the
leading supplier of realtime personalization solutions, today announced several new developments aimed at sustaining the
company's high level of customer service as it continues its rapid growth.

The changes include the appointment of six new members to the management team, the opening of the company's new
headquarters facility in Minneapolis and Net Perceptions' plans to expand into Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Management Team Expands

Net Perceptions has made the following appointments:

Doug Burgham, Board Member. A respected executive in the software industry, Burgham has served as President of Great
Plains Software since 1984. He assumed the title of CEO in 1991 and was named Chairman of the Board in 1996. Previously,
Burgham was a management consultant in the Chicago office of McKinsey & Company, Inc. He holds a B.S. from North
Dakota State University and an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Steve VanTassel, VP Product Management. VanTassel joined Net Perceptions as Director of Business Development in
September 1998. Prior to joining Net Perceptions, he spent fourteen years with IBM where he led IBM's worldwide product
management for the retail and direct marketing industries. He also held responsibility for IBM's E-commerce solution initiatives
for the retail industry in North America.

Steve Jacob, VP Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA). Prior to joining Net Perceptions, Jacob served as VP EMEA for
Cascade Systems, Scopus Technology and Landmark Graphics. He was also UK Sales Director for Ingres Corporation. Due
to Jacob's track record and deep regional experience, he will be heading up EMEA expansion from Net Perceptions' soon to
be announced European headquarters in the UK.

Rich Novak, VP Sales, Western Region. Novak comes to Net Perceptions from Microstrategy, Inc., where he was Vice
President of the Western Region. He also has held positions with Stanford Technology Group, Tandem Computers, Data
General Corporation and Honeywell.

George Nader, VP Sales, Eastern Region. Nader has been with Net Perceptions since May 1997, most recently serving as
Director of Eastern Region Sales. Before joining the company, Nader was Manager of Government Sales at Autodesk, the
world leader in computer-aided design software. Nader is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of New Jersey. He
holds a graduate degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Nanci Anderson, VP Customer Solutions. Anderson joined Net Perceptions as General Manager of Customer Solutions in
September 1998 after heading Oracle Corporation's successful technology consulting practice in the Twin Cities. Prior to that,
Anderson developed a track record for building highly-respected professional services organizations at Lawson Software,
KeyTech LLC, Cognos Corporation and ONTOS Corporation.

New Headquarters Provide More Room to Grow

To accommodate current and anticipated growth, Net Perceptions recently moved its corporate headquarters to a new 27,000
sq. ft. facility, a space more than 400% larger than its original facility which provides significant room to accommodate the
growth which is anticipated over the next 18 months.

To preserve the ''team spirit'' that is a core value of Net Perceptions' corporate culture, the new facility incorporates
comfortably casual ''play spaces'' where team members from diverse disciplines are encouraged to take time-outs and
collaborate on projects.
