cd\windows\temp<<
del *.*

William delete the above a try this below,

SET TEMP=C:\WINDOWS\TEMP

Ps,

try this too:
set temp=c:\temp
if exist del c:\temp\*.tmp

Make sure you have a temp directory -- the delete line above will
remove any debris left lying around after a failed Windows session.

echo y | del *.*

PS. While I'm here, for those of you who remember me from last fall/winter, I'm back. Just graduated from university and I'm doing well enough with the options that I'm just bumming around (ie daytrading full time) this summer until my masters starts in the fall.

As a side note, what I saw on my vacation backpacking through Europe was that what a lot of people there equate the Internet with Hotmail and Yahoo. Too bad Hotmail's not public. But everywhere I went, there were Internet cafes packed with students checking hotmail/yahoo. Just wait until they all grow up and have piles of disposable income. E-commerce is still just in it's infancy. All these stocks are still cheap.

So when I got back, I bought more YHOO :)

James.

Didn't know if you got an answer to this.

The following line should work:

del /q *.*
