Franks Friendly Tavern on Apache Blvd.

Frank's is what I meant to say. Freddie's was over on the North-east side of campus, somewhere near la libreria, if I remember correctly. The sound of broken glass permeated the air.

I spent many happy hours at Frank's mini-bowling alley, a few decades back.

Dan, Timber Wolf and the Vine on Apache are the replacement spots. ASU's IT MBA program have adopted both of the spots as their active watering holes. You can get quite a penny education from a visit.
