Hi Goldie. Of all the discount brokers that I have used in the past(egrp, ndb, waterhouse, sieb, oldie, brown&co, and a couple of smaller outfits), I think EGRP is the best. NDB is also good and I do 1/2 of my trades with them right now. My problem with them is that when you want to short something you have to call them.

I hope to get ATHM up & running tomorrow afternoon. I miss its fast access.

Goldie, AMTD system is down this morning but according to customer support I am short 700 strm at 53-3/8!!! The buy at 47-1/4 has not showed up in my acct. yet.

They claim this kind of stuff doesn't usually happen. We'll see.

Also, I asked them to change my passwd to something more complex involving alphanumeric characters but 4-digit pin numbers is all they do. I don't like that.
