O.T. Well, actually a chimera is any imaginary monster. The term is usually used to denote an imaginary, visionary, frightful, or foolishly vain concept. (Webster -- I had to look it up!) JimW

chimera, one of my favorite words, actually a fire breathing monster with a lion's head, goat's body and serpent's tail, the idea being a mythical beast made of incongruous parts, or anything made of incongruous parts, and thus so fanciful that the word chimerical means existing only as unchecked imagination or fantasy, now isn't that kind of neat?
