WIND - nothing in SEC report but good news so far as I could tell. Earnings fine. New CEO on the way with new post-Milennium internet strategies. Stock still down about 50% from recent high. Sank to 11 for no substantial financial reason. CEO announced intention to step aside and stock recovered. Hit 22 a few weeks ago. Has dragged feet on PR but that is changing. Dominant positions in many sub-sectors esp. imbedded systems. Jabak reports:

" Wind River Systems, Inc. WIND 05/21/99 $20.313 $17.938 +$1.188 -11.69% I'm adding Wind River Systems (WIND) to Jubak's Picks with a target price of $30 a share for May 2000. As I wrote in "Who wins when life goes digital," the company will be a major beneficiary of the rapid growth in the market for specialized appliances that can communicate over the Internet. The stock took a beating after an earlier earnings warning, but I expect it to rebound strongly in the rest of calendar 1999. "

At $16 5/8 I don't think there's much downside but if it dips any more certainty a bargain IMHO.
