Sonny,

My big aim is to pare my portfolio down to no more than 10 stocks.

I find that if I get much over ten stocks I lose focus. For me it's a question of how much time I can devote to stock analysis.

Once you get out of certain stocks a cpl of times it's hard to find the right time to get back in.

Boy, I sure hear that one. It's equally hard when you missed the right entry point by conscious decision and you never get in (like me with WCOM). Among my other less-than-stellar calls is when I looked at the Gemstar prospectus and said (in front of witnesses), "This company is a one-trick-pony. It can't possibly be profitable in the long run." Of course, these are the people who own the technology for VCR+.

Fortunately, some of my calls were better, or, as the song goes, "There but for fortune..."
